Bought a hitch for my Honda Accord but do not have the ability to elevate the car to install the hitch myself. Therefore, I am trying to find someone or somewhere that can install at a reasonable and fair price. U-Haul want me to buy the hitch from them but I already bought one from etrailer.com. Any recommendations?

A regular car mechanic can do it.

A couple months ago I just backed mine up on some vehicle wheel ramps and installed a trailer hitch. Granted I had a little more clearance since it was a small SUV, but you'd have enough room to work with using wheel ramps. You can get a set for about $40. I use mine all the time for DIY oil changes as well.

Late-model car bumpers have limited ground clearance. Standard-height ramps might not fit under the bumper. It won't be a problem when working on an SUV.

Anyone who is considering buying a set of ramps should measure their vehicle beforehand.

Been there, done that, paid those dues!

I've backed up or pulled forward out over a ditch to get access to the underside of a car. I used this method to install several hitches. A low retaining wall works great too. Make sure to chock the wheels good.

Default Thanks

Guys, you have all been great. Thanks for all your advice ... I will call Raleigh hitch and hear what they have to say and will also explore some of the other options mentioned. Thanks

Try reaching out to Dale at Dale's Honda and Acura in Raleigh. He can probably help you. He has worked on my Honda cars for over 10 years and he knows them inside and out. Plus he is as honest and reasonable as they come.
