Does anyone have any recommendations for places to OWS (Open Water Swim) in Cary? We recently moved here, and I am trying to get back into Triathlon.

Jordan Lake will be your best bet... Off of 64

My buddy says that "jordan lake and falls lake are the only two I use for open water swimming"

There are no public pools in Cary but the closest one would be Lake Johnson public pool in Raleigh. Most of the public pools close after Labor day. You can swim at Lake Jordan and Pullen reacreational center has an indoor public lap pool.

Yes, it just may cost a dollar or two more.
It's like $3.75 for residents and $5.25 or something for nonresidents.

Here's the rates...you can also get punch passes which are generally cheaper.

Pullen is nice, it's actually INDOORS, not one of those bubbles.
