Does anyone know if they're planning to widen this road? I'm most interested in the section from Kildaire Farm Rd. to 401.

Also, what's going on with all the trees being cut down just before Holly Springs Road? Are they finally starting construction on that Church? I remembered seeing a sign that said "Future Home of __________ Church".

i don't think there are plans to widen it, since 540 will run pretty close to it.

They just repaved it, so I doubt that they will widen it. I drive that way to work sometimes and it is so maddening to get stuck behind some landscaping truck going 40-45mph. Nowhere to pass except the traffic light at Killdaire Farm.

It's not as bad as getting stuck behind a school bus going 25 mph and making stops everywhere!

This should answer your question as to what is going on. I was hoping they were going to widen the roads but no such luck...

^^^The original post is from over four years ago, so they weren't talking about the sewer line project.
