I've been living here for 1.2 months and moved here from Upstate New York. I am extremely homesick but rather than admit it, I would rather bash everything around me.

How do you people live here? It's always 100 degrees, and when it snows everyone goes to the grocery store for milk and bread. No one can drive and the food here is horrible. Where can I buy Old Time Mr. Smith's canned Hotdogs in German sauce? The schools are terrible and my neighbors aren't friendly.

Everything was better back up north!

Most likely the bad drivers are transplants from up North. It is obvious that all natives here are much better drivers and would never do anything badly. The driving around here used to be so much better until everyone from up north brought their bad habits with them. Never mind the fact that as population increases in an area traffic increases, thereby increasing the amount of stupid things one sees no matter where the other drivers come from.

Oh, and all the unfriendly people are from up North and the schools also got worse when the New Yorkers' spawn started enrolling.

Before you move here, you need to know that it is HOT in the summer and COLD in the winter.

I am thinking of opening a business in Raleigh Durham. What type of business is needed in Raleigh Durham? What types of restaurants would you like to see? What are commercial rents, and are utilities typically included? What concept would you like me to use? What town should I open my business in? Please answer ASAP as I am planning a trip to scout locations this weekend.

Is International really spelled with a U? RDU

Speaking of the airport, do they really have flights from Raleigh to Durham?

I went to the Sherwin Willams store in Cary to get paint for my house. All they could offer was beige, light beige and medium light beige. What's up with that?

I need help choosing where to live. I understand if you want to go to Cary schools, you have to live in Raleigh. If you want to go to Apex schools, you have to live in Morrisville. I want my kids to go to Wake Forest schools, so what town do we need to live in?
