I need to get my anniversary band resized. We took it to JC Penney and they charged $50 just to send it out. The resizing isn't correct and I don't feel like going back to fuss with them about it. I just want it to be done right and not take three weeks to be returned.
Does anyone know an EXCELLENT jeweler who does not take forever to resize and isn't one of the ones that switches jewels?
I know an independent goldsmith who works out of a private studio in Cary; he made my rings and is extremely trustworthy and talented. PM me and I can get you his contact info.
Hollands Jewelers in Apex on Salem Street. I know LOADS of people who go there. My mum's engagement ring band had completely split and I put off taking it in for repair as I was worried about the cost. I finally took it to Holland and a week later it was fixed - for $20!!! And so shiny too!!!

Thanks so much for all the recommendations! I will check them out and, hopefully, get my ring done before the holidays.
Kind regards,
mj
