I'm looking for a development / neighborhood similar to Brier Creek Regency, but closer to the Stonehenge area. Brier Creek is too far of a commute for my wife. Anywhere near North Hills mall would work too.

So, something new (or close to new), about 2000 sq ft, preferably low maintenance but that's not critical, single family home, yard for dogs. Under 400K. ($200 / sq.ft. is kinda high.)

Thanks for any ideas. I love this forum

Unfortunately, anything new or close to new near North Hills is going to be an infill project and pricey. Why not look at some heavily renovated older homes in the near North Raleigh area? You are likely to get more for your money and on a better sized lot in a more convenient area.

To find what you describe you would have had to been looking in the 80's or early 90's. You are definitely going to have renovate or find someone who did what you want and is selling.
