Sorry...I know it's a silly request, but can you tell me where I can buy some compression socks? Is this something that you need to go to a special type of store for?
I looked at WalMart but they only had one pair and they didn't seem that firm.
I've never needed them before but a family member is getting a job that requires them to be on their feet all day so I'm trying to help out.
Any stores in the Raleigh/Cary/Apex/Fuquay area?
Thanks

We prescribe them for patients at our offices because some insurances help cover them. Just a thought.

Check Ashworth's in Cary, but any medical supply place should carry them.

Have bought them in the past at Blue Ridge Pharmacy. Also got a pair late last year at the Gold Toe outlet in Mebane at a better price and they work fine too.

I have found them at Walmart,(mens section) at the Dr.s office (ted hose). The Walmart were like an long dress sock. They did help. I also got ted hose from the rehab sec. of our hospital. Those really helped alot. You Dr. will have to send you there. They are very different than when I was a kid. They looked very decent. Unlike the ones from my Grandma's era.

If you go to a medical supply store, you may need a prescription or otherwise have your doctor tell you what type to get.
Some websites have forms where you can see all the options there are for getting the correct size.
It would be easier just to find a standard size at another Walmart.
