I have been searching for a home for about 6 months. I have been mainly looking at the Capital Blvd/401 area since it's within my budget. I have narrowed my search to the Neuse Crossings subdivision (between 401 and Mitchell Mill Rd). It seems to be a nice older subdivision. I'm looking for a subdivision that is safe, low crime and friendly. I have a young child. I noticed that the elementary school is Harris Creek, which I'm told is a good school.

I would appreciate any feedback about Neuse Crossings. Thanks.

We live a half mile from Neuse Crossings. We have several friends that live there, and have no problems. Our grand-daughter went to Harris Creek, and it is a wonderful school. The shopping center nearby is constantly growing in tenants. The Baptist Church nearby(Wake Cross Roads) has a lot of community programs........

Thank you both for your response! This community seems to have all that I'm looking for. Low crime, nice neighborhood and a good elementary school. Plus, homes are affordable. I don't think I can ask for more.
