I live in an apartment complex near Brier Creek that has laundry connections in the units, but I choose to use that space for storage.
The problem is that the complex has no central laundry.

I'm looking for a coin laundry, or a Dry Cleaning storefront that does 'wash & fold", to do my normal laundry. I don't have any Dry Cleaning, and it would be nice to find a place with the larger washers/dryers to do blankets and pillows and such.

Does anyone living in a the BC area apartment complex know if your complex has a central laundry that is NOT access restricted (with a key-fob or such)?

Does anyone nearby know of a normal laundromat?
The two closest that I've already visited were one on Millbrook just off Glenwood (dirty and very poorly maintained), and one on 55 just south of 54 in RTP (that is so scary that I'd not go back without an armed guard, ... and I'm a big guy!).

Thanks!

I know this is a reply to an old post but just in case....

Our dryer broke last week and the replacement parts won't be in until next week. With a child about to leave for a week long trip my wife and I were desperate to find a laundromat in a relatively decent neighborhood.
While friends and neighbors offered to let us use their machines it would've been a little odd to parade in and out of someone else's home all day.

Well it took a while but we found out that Medlin-Davis maintains a laundromat in Cameron Village right in the heart of Raleigh. It was a perfect location to do a round of washing, grab a bite to eat, throw everything into the dryer and go shopping for a bit until that was done. We were completely done in one hour and it almost seemed like a date night experience rather than doing household chores. The only caveat is that they close at 9:00 PM so plan accordingly.

Thanks for the response. I also know of several rather large coin laundries just outside the core of NC state, and I ended up driving down into Cary at US-1 and I-40, where there is a clean and well maintained coin laundry. But that's still a 20 min drive from Brier Creek, where I live.
