There's a Meetup group called Triangle Billiards Group. I've posted a link below. Some new pool buds, maybe?

The Triangle Billiards Meetup Group (Apex, NC) - Meetup.com

Hope this helps!

Oscar's Q and Bar

Oscar's Q and Bar is around the corner from me in Chapel Hill. I've never been inside but it looks like it's popular.

Thumbs up Feeling the anticipation, the itch for a double rebound shot in NC

Wow guys! Thanks for all that fantastic information! Looks like I won't be lonely for long once we move. I am SO looking forward to it. *sparks of glee flying off my brow*

I think I've seen someone else post something about that Meetup website before. It didn't even occur to me. Thank you for bringing that up!

Default Fat Daddys

I have to agree with the others that Fat Daddys is almost exactly what you were describing when looking for a place. It has cheap beer, decent tables, lots of regulars (me being one of them), and live music on the weekends. They dont try to cover any Boston tunes, but I think that's for the best.
