I have a Meetup on Sunday at Hayes Barton Baptist Church---Five Points. After the Meetup we'd like to adjourn to a restaurant for a burger and a beer, preferably w/in walking distance. There are a number of restaurants listed in the area but I have no idea what is open on Sunday and is casual enough for our group.

Any suggestions?

maybe the point? there is hayes barton eatery right there but that's quite amall/crowded & is less casual in the evening.

otherwise i'd recommend people carpool down to the hibernian or mojoe's (that's a yelp page; i don't have access to their facebook page at work).

The Point is in easy walking distance (right by the Rialto). I can't vouch for the food, but they serve burgers are very casual and are open on Sunday.

Lilly's pizza is across the street (I know you said burgers) but the pizza is really good and it's also very casual. Only problem is it gets crowded so depending on how big your group is, seating could be an issue.

Go to the Point. Easy to walk to from the church (maybe 2 minutes) and Great food and nice casual atmosphere.

Nofo has good burgers and a great spinach burger! Recommend reservations if you have more than 5 people since it gets crowded after church!

the Point.

NOFO is only open for brunch on Sundays - they close at 3 (or did within the last few weeks, and their website still says so).
