I find that the quality of the area coincides with the quality of the public schools zoned for it.

How do you determine the public school zoning in Raleigh now that parents get those letters that give them choices? Choose between X & Y school.

I've seen some Raleigh listings just have Wake Cty Public Schools. Others do list a school but in Wake you are not guaranteed a spot at that school necessarily. And there is not room on the mls listing to put all the schools that one home has as options.

I'm not being snarky about this. I'm really curious how in the world do you determine this without calling the office of student assignment.

Enter the address here is the only real way right now: Determine the Residence of the Student

At this time, our MLS is not set up for that many school choices. We have been told to use "Wake County School System" and that is the choice that comes up when putting in a new listing.

I hope they will figure something else out as this isn't a very helpful way, in my opinion!

Vicki - WYSIWYG

We can't be the ones to assume such liability for claiming a school as your "first choice" when it's quite possible that the first choice listed they have no chance at. Maybe (supposed to be a small chance) the 2nd as well.

I live in one of these areas and I highly recommend you check it out! Houses are getting flipped like crazy here and there are tons of them for sale. Neighbors here are the best. Some streets to cover: Derby, Tudor, Stevens, Bertie, N King Charles, Glascock, Culpepper, etc.
