Very good point. I wonder how the town (and residents) would feel about a sound wall around the worst parts. They're not exactly pretty, but they do significantly decrease road noise. I can't think of one that's been built in Cary (except on the highway), but I also can't think of one anywhere that's not on a highway so maybe that isn't an option...
