Great comments and suggestions!!! Remember its not all about having a reservation for that perfect place...sometimes its just the spontaneity to say you love them in the hustle and bustle of finding somewhere you both can enjoy! Its the drop everything and be adventurous together kind of day sometimes. Just like the guys in NRG picture.....its the old 'Oh Ships!' I got to get candy!!!
Take out works well too! Albeit Chinese, Tai, Italian, Korean, or a box of Apple Jacks...its not the food, drink, or sweets that is important today its the thought and passion one puts into it!
Happy Valentine's Day! Ok that is now out of the way....where is the best place to go for a Valentine's Day dinner?
It's too late for my suggestion: do what we did and go on the 13th instead of the 14th Almost nobody in the place, especially when it falls on a Monday. As for tonight--good luck finding anywhere now!
The place I did go, which I recommend for the future, is Nina's, an Italian restaurant near Strickland Rd and Lead Mine in North Raleigh.
We are going to Tokyo House, which is one of my favorite places, but is almost always deserted when we go. I'm interested to see if it's busier today. We do have reservations, thankfully! My fiance planned today and I planned my own Vday for him Friday which was a murder mystery dinner theater, love themed!
Here is the line out the door with last minute V-Day shoppers at Escazu Chocolates in dowtown Raleigh right now! Picture
Love the picture!
