Nevermind! Just happened to see a big Wake Tech Campus North sign out by that construction site...so I guess that construction is for the college.

If you go into the shopping center on 401 across from Food Lyon by the Southall Commons Townhouses (all that is there now is a gym and an eye care center) you will see a store front. It is the 5401 project. The outside of the building says 5401 and you can see the drawings for the project on boards...

^ Yes I've noticed that too, but it always looks closed when I drive by.

I reached out to them by email and got a response fairly quickly. They're currently finalizing development contracts with home builders, fitness & wellness partners (not sure what that means exactly) retailers, and commercial tenants and hope to have the first home sites available by Fall 2013.

I'm now on their mailing list, so I'll continue to keep this thread updated. This project has lots of potential in my opinion.
