We bought a recliner from Heavner Furniture in Smithfield last weekend and have a problem. Once we got it home, we discovered it has an awful smell we cannot get rid of. We have bought many pieces from the Heavner Furniture store on Glenwood and never had this issue. They say all sales are final, but we cannot leave this cloth recliner in our house. It keeps smelling it up. We are looking to hear from people who have tried to return items to Heavners to find out what their experience has been. We don't want to take a loss on the chair. Please help.
I would call and tell them. I bought a wood dining table from them and when I got it home I saw there was a small crack in one of the legs. I called their mgr and he immediately offered to get me a replacement leg shipped in. I was very pleased with their customer service and wouldn't hesitate to purchase from them again.

Dan took the chair back no problem and ordered us a new one. We are happy campers.
