Has anyone tried Mia Francesca's at North Hills? I've read some reviews online but wondering if anyone on the Forum has tried it and can comment.

I'm curious about the atmosphere and if it would be a good place for a girl's night. We like to go places where we can sit and chat w/out feeling rushed (but note to the servers or former servers who dread women "campers", we tip generously!)

It's at the end of Main St...so if you are standing facing the movie theater (from Main St vs in the loop by the theater) it's to the right. The web site says it's adjacent to the Renaissance hotel but the pictures look like it's attached.

From what I can tell, it's actually in the hotel building. Right up front, with a patio seating area.

We went there on opening weekend and there were a couple of groups of women there who appeared to be having a very enjoyable girls night out. I think it will be a good place for your outing. Sherriftruman is correct. The restaurant is actually on the ground floor of the hotel but you don't have to walk into the hotel to access it. Just drive right up to the front entrance of the hotel and you will see the restaurant to the right of the hotel entrance.

I went there 2 week ends ago. It was girls night and I am a guy. So I can suggest it was couples night.

I was first impressed with the wide open Bar. It was not a Sea of shoulders. Second the employees are so helpful. We were a group of 12-15 as people came and went. They had no problem with that. The food was a little slow but it was a busy Friday night. I highly suggest the calamari. for an appraiser. (To die for)

The main dishes were delish and I have been meaning to write a review somewhere else. Great presentation and hot off the grill. We were a group of chattering girls and they did not rush us out. The take home boxes were well done.

We stayed in the safe zone of $17.00 meals. You can go hog wild and do meals in the $35.00 range.

Parking- we hit the parking deck at the front door. Went straight down two stories and got close to Target. Took the escalators two stories up and were right in front of the hotel. The restaurant is the right wing of the lobby.

I highly recommend it. We had a blast.

I went with a large group - 12 to 14 - they sat us upstairs where there's just 2 large tables, and we had good food, good service, and good times.
