My 2.5 year old is in a daycare that follows the traditional school calendar and closes for the summer. He LOVES this daycare so I don't want to move him but am looking for some activities, camps or track out program he can attend while they are closed. I'm finding it really difficult as most require that he's already 3 AND potty trained (we're working on this but he isn't all the way there yet). I'm in the Knightdale area but at this point will drive wherever. Any suggestions?
Check out bay leaf baptist church. In the summer, they have childcare from 9:30 to 1:30. They have some special activities like soccer, gymnastics in addition to the normal preschool stuff. Our 2.5 year old son goes there during the traditional year and loves it. He asks to go every day. So he will go at least a day or two this summer for his enjoyment and also my wife's sanity. It's 25$ per day, 25$ registration fee that's one-time.
