I know some went to the parade, but there were lots of other events going on all day and night. How did you spend the day?

I loved that people were wearing green everywhere I went, loved the shorts weather, and loved the good mood that was in the air. Also loved the free music and free food (corned beef, cabbage, beans, and potatoes- yum!) I was able to enjoy with good friends at our favorite bar. Love St. Paddy's Day!

I watched a lot of NCAA basketball yesterday....but did make it to O'Malley's last night with friends for fun, live music and a big plate of corned beef and cabbage.

Nice! Love O'Malley's - bet it was packed! I heard all the Irish pubs downtown were packed too. Saw Hibernian had a huge turn-out. Wishing I had made my own corned beef and cabbage now so I could have leftovers today!

Yep...huge crowd at O'Malley's too...inside and out. We were lucky for sure a booth opened up just as we walked through.

We went to Moore Square to hear Carbon Leaf...a family favorite. Great show, nice atmosphere. Got food from a vendor...Lamb Gyros as a St. Patrick's day treat. I figure of all the choices, the lamb would be the most authentic (certainly more so than corned beef)

I'm half Irish and I went kayaking on Falls Lake and then to a vegan potluck. I did wear a green shirt at least!

I drove by there, looked like a great time, and you could spread out a bit too. Haha - you are right on the lamb!
