My sister and I would like to go out this weekend and take some pictures. Which of the two gardens would you recommend at this time of year?

Thanks.

duke gardens will have much more & be worth the trip if you have a bit of time. you could easily spend several hours there relaxing, take a picnic lunch, & get some great outdoor time. raulston is small but is great for a quick trip to get outside & take a stroll.

Yeah definitely Duke Gardens. I love the Arboretum but you couldn't even make a half day out of it and I feel like it's more research oriented. Duke Gardens is purely there for the sake of being a garden. Plus the Asian garden is fabulous looking right now.
