I grew up in houses that had well water, and the husband didn't. This lead to this exchange when we were prepping first hurricane together...

Me: So I guess we should go ahead and fill up the bathtubs too
Husband: Huh?
Me: Fill up the bathtubs. You know, so we can flush the toilet and stuff if the power goes out.
Husband: **blank stare** with a little
Me: Because the pump for the water needs elec....oh yeah, we have city water.
Husband: Ok....

I then got pretty excited knowing that even if we lost power, we'd have water too! Yay!

Anyway, we didn't loose power at all this weekend so no need for confusing my spouse further...

Once upon a time couples would have sex when the opportunity presented itself. And if a power outage isn't a great opportunity.... And no talking is needed! Now it's "sorry honey, I'm on level 7 of Angry Birds."
