I'm officially ready for lottery mania to be over for my own selfish reasons. Went inside the c-store after getting gas for a soda. When I saw the line was about 20 deep I decided that I didn't need it that bad.

Actually, I guess if you look at it another way, the lotto saved me $2.

haha that's why when I do buy lotto tickets, I do it at Harris Teeter. Nobody ever seems to be buying tickets from the kiosk there

Wow, with it up to 640 mil now, if by some strange chance no one wins, this thing will be at an even billion by next drawing probably.

I actually bought a couple of tickets. Probably the 3rd or 4 th time ever and those were going in with other people.

I just played the lotto for the first time.

I could go for a condo on South Beach, a penthouse in New York, nice house with a big yard in Cary and a some nice real estate in Ann Arbor, Michigan. I won't mind take a few trips around the world. Donating to some homeless and domestic violence shelters as well as St Judes and Duke Children Hospital. Still enough to invest 100 million.

That's true. I guess when you look at it that way. Besides I wasted $5 on my completly wrong NCAA bracket and that jackpot was nowhere near 500 mil.

I bought 10 tickets on Wednesday and have been "spending" the winnings ever since! The very first thing I would do is give each family member $5 million each, and then I would get so lost, no one would be able to find me (but chances are it would be a tropical location)! LOL

No lambo for me either, thank you....just donate the money to several animal rights organizations for me instead!

Drove out to Beaufort tonight and while in a gas station saw a guy buy $80 in tickets! Hope he was buying for an office pool.
