We've noticed with these temp swings over the past few weeks that our heating/cooling system isn't doing a great job at either one. I've seen a few threads about this but looking for recent recommendations. Can anyone recommend someone that can service the northeast raliegh area near wake forest?

Check the HVAC filters first to see if they are dirty and need to be replaced. Dirty filters will affect system performance.

Also your coils might need cleaning. I have cleaned mine myself but you need to be careful doing it....

Steve Stargardt at i-Air. 919-906-8552. He operates all over Wake County. A real pro. Tell him that Jule recommended him.

I use a private friend so I can't recommend a company, but I can recommend staying far away from Weather Master....I've had numerous issues with them in the past, never resolved to my satisfaction, from overcharging to poor quality installations that they wouldn't stand behind to other minor issues. They are not only incompetent, but also on the verge of being thieves as well. Strong statements, yes, but I hate for anyone else to ever use them and run into problems like I did. Stay far, far away.

Justin replaced my complete HVAC system back in 2011. Great guy. I also highly recommend him.

We use ARS. They are actually coming out tomorrow to replace a lot of duct work in our attic. They replaced our big, outside ac unit last year and did a great job.
