Driving to work the other day I saw a sign for the Page Road Grill. Construction will be complete by mid 2012 per the architectural group's website. It looks like they just started, but I'm not sure when they're opening.

The restaurant will be located just down the road from Mez and it is also owned by the same restaurant group as Mez. I'm looking forward to some new after-work alternatives in that area. Happy Hour anyone?

Below is all I could find for the restaurant. Please add anything if you know more about it. It looks like they're going to go the same route as Tribeca Tavern, which isn't a bad option in my opinion.

I guess I'm the only one that has lunch on the brain while at work

Very cool! Mez knows how to do it right so I'm sure their new restaurant will be great as well. Seems like there's a lot of construction going on in that area with a new apartment complex being built across from Arby's.

Could-a fooled me. I can't ever find parking there during the week. Obviously they're doing something right!

Ditto. The wife and I enjoy Mez enough, sometimes she'll come home from work in RTP and we'll turn around and drive right back down there for dinner. 411 West in Chapel Hill, by the same owners, is also a great place to eat in our experience.

Hmmm...i'm not too familiar w/ the Steampunk design genre. That should be interesting to look at!

A little off topic, but there are a few of those places around there. Lena's Cafe, Orient Garden, Jamaica Jamaica, Sarah's Empanadas, Papa Mojo's, Williams Gourmet Kitchen, Chubby's Taco (RTP Location), Neomonde Cafe, Two Guys Grille, and Randy's Pizza to name a few.

I assume the steam punk design will be the inside. The sign out front with a rendering looks pretty standard. Actually there are hardly any windows so it's a bit weird to me. Looks like a jail with all the block.

So it looks like they are open now. Has anyone tried it? It's not as close to work as it used to be, but I want to try it out!

And the website... http://www.pageroadgrill.com/
