Hello All,

I am currently residing in Houston, Texas right now, but in early July I plan to move to North Carolina for school. I will be attending Campbell University in Buies Creek in the fall, and I was hoping to get some suggestions of where I can live from you guys. In the brief research that I have done, I am somewhat sold on Fuquay-Varina. I like that it's somewhat in between Raleigh & Buies Creek. What do you guys think? I am having a hard time trying to find apartments there though. Does anyone know a good apartment locator service? Any input would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Default Have you tried the University web site?

Universities typically have a housing or room-mate locator service on campus. Usually you can access their services remotely via the website.

My kids have had success using Craigs List to find room-mates & apartments near campus, particularly for graduate programs.

Below are hits #1 and #4 from a single Google search.

F-V is nice. The drive down 401 is good. Apartments are harder to come by outside the main cities like Raleigh and Fayetteville. You might find some in Dunn / Erwin--not as nice as F-V. Otherwise as mentioned above, contact Campbell for direction.

Definitely contact the housing office at Campbell. They will have suggestions for apartments, as well as they may keep a list of people who are advertising rooms/apartments for rent.
