My husband and I both had ours done with Dr. Lori Travers at Travers Lasik a few years ago. Both are very very happy with our results and at the time she also had the best price in town. Don't know what her prices are currently.
Her prices start at $999/per eye and she has done over 25,000 procedures. I would highly recommend her.
If you can plan ahead I would highly recommend using a Flexible Spending Account through your employer to pay the cost. You'd have to wait until next year, but you'd save the taxes you would otherwise pay on that money, which could save you a few hundred bucks.
