Hi there...sorry to be posting about school suggestions again we are looking for a kindergarten or transitional k program for our son. He is attending pre k here in NJ, but misses the kindergarten cutoff in NC. We were initially considering an all day program, but would now also like to consider part time options and Christian schools. We really want a curriculum based school, not a daycare. Doesn't have to be in HS, but within a 10 minute drive would be great. Thanks so much!

This school is very good, just straight down Sunset Lake Rd, depending where you are in HS, probably within 10 minutes - they have a 5-year-old transitional program that runs 5 days a week, half days only. Tough to get in but worth a try.

My kids went to Apple Seeds and it was wonderful! They were more than prepared for kindergarten.

My four-year old is at Appleseeds and will be doing the transitional class in the fall. We can't say enough good things about this school. It is very close to Holly Springs, too.

My son attended Little Dreamers in Holly Springs. He did well there, but they do not have an outdoor area for the kids to play outside. Just before Kindergarten, he went to Seeds oF Faith Preschool at the Fuquay-Varina UMC. While it is not a curriculum based school, he loved it there and is currently above grade level in his elementary school. Seeds of Faith has based their program around what the elementary schools want them to know when they enter Kindergarten. While my son liked the first school, he was always excited to tell me about his day at Seeds of Faith.
