I just picked 5 pounds of blueberries at Patchwork Farm in Chapel Hill. It's blueberry season for those who are interested. Yum!

Nice! I was wondering if there's a blueberry farm around here. I already ate all the blueberries off my bushes lol.

Just out of curiosity, what do farms charge to pick your own blueberries and strawberries per pound? I haven't moved yet to Raleigh yet, so I am comparing prices to my area.

For pick-your-own, I paid $1.55 per pound for strawberries last month. And today I paid $2.00 per pound for blueberries. It is a lot cheaper here than where I just moved from (Northern Virginia).

Yay! I picked blueberries last year for the first time, it was so much fun and so much easier than picking strawberries (no bending, or not as much). I picked at a farm in Sanford. Yummy.

I find that blueberries go bad quickly, so be sure to freeze some! I'll have to go this season. I haven't been in years!

Is there by any chance any PYO blueberry place within 30 min. drive from Cary?

I usually check this site for pick-your-own. You have to scroll down to find your county. I couldn't find any blueberry sites for Wake, but some farms might be small and not listed there. Where in Piedmont area of North Carolina to find pick your own farms and orchards for fruit, vegetables, pumpkins and canning & freezing instructions!
