I need a great eye surgeon. I need to get my eye straighten from a childhood injury.I see very little in that eye. I appreciate the help.

Duke Eye Center is excellent. They have specialists for retina, cornea, glaucoma, etc. Locations in Durham, Cary and Raleigh depending on the type of injury you have. Main campus in Durham right beside Duke Hospital main campus.

Ditto Duke Eye Center. I highly recommend Jason Liss, MD there...not exactly certain if your eye problem matches his eye specialty. The center is very problem specific.

I see Dr. Alan Carlson when I go. He is the director for Corneal Surgery. You need to go to the specialist for your problem - cornea, retina, etc.

My daughter had her cross eye fixed at Duke Eye Center. Highly recommend them as well. My uncle also had some cataracts fixed there and had a great experience.

OP - sent you a PM but if anyone is curious, OP will need the services of a pediatric ophthalmologist! Not because it was a childhood injury but because they are the ones trained to fix misaligned eyes (strabismus) whether crossed in or out. Agree that Duke has excellent surgeons, Jeff Board in Raleigh is also excellent.
