Does your company have corporate agreements with any of the rental agencies? I've always found that to be the absolute cheapest option.

Also, check what clubs and other organizations you belong to.

Sams, Pace, BJs, AAA, AARP, my Car Insurance, my professional society, and several national clubs I belong to all have discounts of one brand or another.

Unfortunately, I don't think this will be an quick and easy answer. You'll need to do some research.
Their main and discounted prices come and go.
If you had to rent one in the next few minutes though, off the top of my head I'd go with Enterprise. I rented one from them a couple of years ago for 6 weeks while I replaced a car that had been totaled.

Someone told me recently that they get the best deals on car rentals through Priceline. They put in a daily price of $15-$16 when renting weekly. Not quite sure how it works but it might be worth a shot to put in what you are willing to pay and see what happens.

Try Triangle Rental Car. They used to have a branch near the Fairgrounds. Also priceline
is a great idea.
