I need new glasses ASAP. Where can I have them made, anywhere in the Triangle, within 3-4 days? I already have a prescription.
TIA!

You can go to any Lenscrafters and have them made in an hour. They are usually found in most any shopping mall.
I think most eye places take about 7-10 days. I just got new glasses from an eye doctor and they had them in 7 days. Costco and Sams Club are usually about 1 week as well and their prices are great. Anything quicker than that the only place I know is Lenscrafters.

I'd say Lenscrafters as a major brand out there that serves up a prescription rather quickly. Also, I believe if you buy their frames, they have a great return policy. However, this may also apply to their lens only. Make sure to ask.
Also, there are some coupons which are pretty basic, but you can check them out on their site under offers (the last section to the right). Linky.
Good luck.

Thank you! Thank you!
(I got my last ones done at Costco--great price--but they told me 2 weeks this time.)

Yowsa. Just called Lenscrafters, and lenses START at $185. Frames look to be around $150, give or take. At Costco, the whole shebang was around $100. Now to decide if I *really* need them ASAP or not.

At that price, and if you have the membership, I'd just squint for the next two weeks and drive slowly! ;p LOL

Try Eye Care associates. We've never had to wait more then a week for then to come in....they aren't the cheapest around though...but their lens are not as expensive as Lenscrafters as a rule.

Costco is only $100 bucks? Where do you go for the eye exam and prescription then?
