I have 100 pound tank that has 50 pounds of gas left. I was using it with gas logs in my mobile home. Recently I built a new home that doesn't have a fireplace. Therefore, I no longer need my tank. Yes, it was mine I bought it some years back instead of renting one. I would like to sell mine. Does anyone know what the value of the tank would be?

I don't believe its would be legal to transport the tank with that amount of LPG in it, but the gas is probably worth more than the tank.

Default tank

You can buy the tanks from lowes or HD for 100.00. Cost of gas changes so best to call a propane filling place and ask how much to fill a 100pound (not gallon) tank and do the math.
