We currently attend a very small, mostly older, Baptist church where we live. It's great for my three boys because they see a lot of familiar faces and it's like having TONS of grandparents. However, my husband and I are in our late 20s and were hoping when we relocate we'd find a great church (non-mega church) that our boys would have other kids their age. We aren't crazy religious but really enjoy the atmosphere church often brings. We enjoy being a part of something and involved with our community. Can someone recommend something that may sound like a good fit in the Clayton area??

Thanks!

First Baptist Clayton is a great Church. 411 S. Fayetteville Street. Not a mega church. Traditional worship services. Not sure how old your children are but we have great children and youth groups. We would love to have you visit us. I am sending you a PM.

This is a age group that that we have had a hard time reaching. Many this age are involved in college or just finishing college. We have a large number in this age group that are members of our church but they are in and out of town. We have events for this age group during the summer and during the Christmas/New Year holidays. Our new Associate Pastor/Youth & Outreach Minister's wife has recently started a Sunday School Class that is directed at this age group.

When you mentioned traditional...does this mean more towards the music as well? Older hymns and things? Or is there any mix of contemporary music as well? Thanks!
