The former Ruby Tuesday's/ Captain Stanley's on Falls of Neuse has been torn down. Does anyone know what the plan is for the space? I know Winston's could use more parking lot space but I am not sure that's the plan. I was surprised the building was torn down. There were a few failed restaurants in that space, but the building didn't seem dilapidated or anything.

I'm guessing that PDQ is different from the old drive-thru PDQ's we used to have in Raleigh? They used to have the best burger and seasoned fries!

I don't know how I feel about this, more fast food. So it's like a zaxby'/Steak and Shake mash-up? Good seafood is getting harder and harder to find around these parts. Which is sad, as close to the beach as we are.

The original owners have returned to Captain Sanley's on S. Saunders Street. Best fried seafood in the Triangle!

Fitzgerald's Seafood opened nearby on Millbrook near Atlantic, the old Royal China restaurant.

My favorite...Kemp's is still very good. They're in the process of putting a sports bar in the mix.

The best seafood I've found is 'Shuckers' up in Wake Forest. Kinda pricey, but I'll readily admit it's some of the best seafood I've ever had away from the beach. Captains Stanleys is good just wish it were closer to my home
