I'll be in Raleigh to look for temporary housing this summer, so I'm hoping to get a few ideas on places to check out while I am there.
I have a few particular needs so I'll outline them here:
-1 bedroom, furnished, less than a year lease available as I will be moving out ahead of my wife for about 6 months and hopefully buying a house at that time.
-The nearer to NCSU's Centennial Campus, the better...say within 15 minutes.
-At the same time, I need to live away from students, certainly no undergrads, a smattering of grad students would be tolerable.
-Amenities like exercise facilities and pet-friendly would be nice.
I really have no clue what a furnished one bedroom runs in Raleigh. I found at least one for around $750 which seemed reasonable to low for my expectations. I think I'd like to stay under $1500. I'd assume the more I pay, the fewer students. Any guesses on pricing would be appreciated as well. Thanks in advance!
