Help!

Is there any "decent" place that plays top 40 danceable music in downtown Raleigh on a Friday night?

I'm trying to set up a "Girls Night Out" and I'm absolutely clueless! Our last one was at "Cantina South" which was decent for dancing but the dinner was horrible (they apparently can't handle large groups).

Any suggestions? The ladies range in age from early 20's to mid 40's, maybe even 50's. Also, any suggestions for dinner nearby within walking distance would also be greatly appreciated.

It's for a Zumba group so we need to daaaannnncceee!

Thanks so much!!!

I feel like most people just cruise up and down Glenwood South when they want to go dancing on a Friday night. I'm sure at least one of those clubs will fit the bill. For dinner what sort of food do you want? Sushi? Italian? Burgers?

Solas is a lot of fun!!! I'm in my early twenties and I went with some girlfriends and we had a blast. We also noticed that there were a lot of people of diverse ages... I saw a lot more white hair than I was expecting. That is right downtown so there are a plethora of places to eat nearby. The cover was $10.

Rum Runners is fun...dualing piano players on one side and dancing/club on the other side. We had a great time there with a group of friends. $5.00 cover when we went...Moore's Square. We saw a lot of "girls night out" groups there when we went.
