Thought I'd ask since I used to be a fan of wral.com but they just don't seem to be updating their stories very often on-line.
WTVD-ABC11 seems to have more news so I follow them more often now.
Neither report national news so I have to click another site for that. and I find myself going to news and observer if I want something beyond a headline. and I also follow triangle business journal to get local business news.
Seems like a lot of clicking to monitor the news!
What do you 'click on' to get your local and/or national news on-line?
I like reading nytimes.com for national and international news and keeping an eye on headlines. But, I also like the aggregation of Google News. If you are signed in, you can set the area for local news (e.g Raleigh, Cary, etc) or if you are not signed in, mine usually populates with Raleigh-Cary area news. It's nice because it pulls headlines from all the local news sites like N&O, abc11.com, and local papers.
Apparently N&O is going to have a paywall starting in the fall....
