Several local churches sponsor divorce recovery and divorce care
groups. As a result, many singles find a comfortable place.
I know of adult single groups at White Memorial Presbyterian,
Providence Baptist and Hayes Barton Baptist.
There are many others. I hope you find a community
which is a good fit for you.
Since you're asking about church, it would probably also help if you could give an indication of theology--i.e. fundamentalist, conservative, moderate, or progressive. It won't matter whether they are singles-friendly if you disagree with the basic doctrine.

Check out Lifepointe. We meet in 2 locations...Durant Road and Dillard Drive. It's a great church for everyone. My husband and I are in our thirties. It's definitely family and child friendly, but not focused. I never thought I'd find a church where I fit it, but we've got good coffee, awesome music, and great messages. Lifepointe Church
