Does anyone know if someone that works in carpet repair? I live in the 40-42 area and I have a few areas from the dog I'd like to get fixed. I think one can be stretched and the others I have a spare piece that I can use for patching.

I live near you, we just used Terry's floor Fashions a few weeks ago, and I'm happy with the results. Also, has Bradley's Carpet give me an estimate, but both had the same estimate.

I have no idea where the 40-42 area is, but I used Randy Wooten (919-539-6377) when I needed to fix some patches that my dog destroyed. Was satisfied with his work but don't have any idea whether he's expensive or not (paid $150).

Mikes Carpet Repair 919-844-6833
Highly recommended! Mike is a very personable, great guy that has been repairing carpet for over 20 years. Will be having him patch a very small area of berber in the near future.

We used Ray Groves....919-669-4494 or 910-897-8032 when we moved into our house in June.

He was FANTASTIC. Our realtor recommended him to us. Our carpets were so bad that we really felt they needed to be replaced, but we simply didn't have the money. He came out and stretched and cleaned them in the whole house <1500 sq ft for about $300, if I remember correctly. They looked very close to spotless when he was done. He also told us to use a 50% alcohol 50% peroxide mix to spot treat in the future which was such great advice. We used that when we were cleaning out our apartment and didn't have to rent a rug doctor. Awesome when they will give you advice like that knowing it might mean they lose out on some business!
