Anyone know what they are doing tearing trees down and building what looks like a bridge pylon in the woods south of the Neuse River near 401 and Ligon Mill? The bridge pylon looking thing has been up in the woods for a week or two now but this weekend we noticed that a bunch of trees around it going parallel to the river were taken down.

Made me curious and figured I would ask here.

It looks like they are building a greenway along the Neuse with some pedestrian bridges crossing the river at a few points.

Wow, this is only a a mile or so from my house so I will probably take advantage of this when completed. Thank you for the insight!
