They were going on and on on the news this morning about how the real estate market is in the toilet, and it's a buyer's market now, blah blah blah. Is this holding true at all here, is the market slowing down at all? Just wondering
WEll all I can say is this. Our builder would not negotiate one penny on the price so as far as new homes go sales must not be slow enough for them to be desperate!
Houses in our neighborhood (new construction, wake forest) are selling well. We are in the 450 range. They haven't dropped prices, are still building specs on lots, and don't seem to worried. I haven't seen prices drop in this area. On the selling end, I had one house on the market and sold in 6 days and I have had another on the market closer to 45 days and it hasn't sold. Of course, the one that sold fast, I thought would take a long time and the one that is on the market I thought would sell quickly!
Well I can add this: NJ real estate market is in the toilet I'm still waiting for a looker.... AAHHH!
