Last year, the Geekspark crowd hooked up a two way video between Bugfest and Sparkcon. They tried to cross market too, called it Bugspark on the list, or something. But I am not sure it mattered.
Bugfest is at the Museum of Natural Sciences. See and learn about a bunch of bugs, eat some if you are feeling adventurous. It's geared mostly towards kids but they also have Master Gardeners out there to answer your garden bug questions, pest control companies for pest bug questions, etc.
