Credit Suisse has a significant operation in RTP. Does not Fidelity still as well?

and by the way, we typically see pet restrictions as follows: none, < 25 pounds, < 50 pounds, > 50 pounds. It could be difficult, since it IS a landlord's market, to find somewhere to accept 2 > 50 pound dogs (I assume the boxers are).

In almost all cases, you're going to pay $250-300.

Make sure you consider Cary as well. I moved here from NJ about a year ago and I love it. I never thought in a million years that I'd buy a home in the "south". I bought a home in an older part of Cary where the houses were built in the early 70's, so the lots are fairly large and the trees are tall. It's fantastic.

That sounds great. I prefer older, established neighborhoods. What is the commute to the Duke campus from Cary?

I've seen a few job postings for them. Not sure about Fidelity.

A good friend of mine is interviewing with Fidelity today (after 2 positive telephone interviews). She was told that they are currently adding several new positions to their Morrisville location, although I am not certain exactly what types of positions. My friend has an MBA and is a business analyst.

Takes me about 25 minutes from the east side of Cary. Would take you less time if you were on the RTP side of Cary.

I still haven't been able to visit. It seems like the area pretty smallish complared to the Greater PHX area. So commutting should be a nice change.

Thanks. I will take a peek at their website and see what types of jobs they have open.

My home is near the center of Cary, just inside the Maynard road loop, in the lower left "quadrant". I drive every day to the Meridian Business Park in Durham, which is past RTP proper, and it takes me roughly 20-25 minutes.

I estimate that the drive to Duke for me would take around 30 minutes plus or minus, depending on traffic and time of day.
