I need new glasses. Stopped in the two Eye Care Associates in Cary and thought their frames were hiddeous and expensive. (All very trendy styles for twenty-soomethings -- small lens area -- frames $175-$300!). And the selection was pretty small.
Where should I look for frames for, uh, older folks (fossils like me in their 40s?). Seriously, my lenses are complicated, so I don't want to spend a fortune on frames, and I want pretty standard, "preppy" or "professor" styles.
Suggestions? Good independent opticians?
