If anyone has a primary care doctor that they really like near Wakefield (very north Raleigh or south Wake Forest for those who don't know), please let me know. I'm in the market to switch, and it's time to get a check up.

I've heard positive things about Jason Troiano, MD at Duke Primary Care, Wake Forest.

My husband is very happy with Caleb Pineo, MD at Duke Primary Care in Brier Creek. He is young but so very thorough

Family Practice of Wakefield Doctors

I saw Dr. Kwark from 2001-2006. I really like her. My mom lives in Wake Forest and still sees her.

Why did you stop seeing her? Moved away?

Yeah. We moved to Cary and I didn't want a doc on the other side of town. I switched to my boyfriend (now husband's) practice because it had so many docs I could choose from.

Funny thing is that Dr. Kwark actually lives in Cary (or she did when I moved over here).

I'd recommend Dr. Thomas Curtis at Rex Family Practice in Wakefield.

My husband and I switched to Dr. Belcea at Wakefield Family Medicine based on recommendations here.

We absolutely love him. I've never had a doctor I like as much as Dr. Belcea. He's very personable, and takes the time to actually talk to you and get to know you. I have never felt rushed when seeing him. His office staff is wonderful as well.

We recommended him to a friend of ours, and she is equally as impressed. I can't recommend him enough - and I'm someone who normally doesn't like doctors.
