Marguax's in North Raleigh. Not cheap but very good. If you want to go all out you might want to see if Fearrington House Restaurant will be serving a Thanksgiving dinner. I believe they normally do.

I second Margeaux's for Thanksgiving Dinner - definitely worth it, very yummy! Fills up fast though, make reservations early.

Where do you live?

If in Chapel Hill, Carolina Inn on UNC's campus will probably be serving something special. Il Palio at the Siena Hotel probably also serves a Thanksgiving meal. Fearrington House in Pittsboro.

In Durham, I'd check Four Square, Piedmont, the restaurant at the Washington Duke Inn.

In Raleigh, I believe the Angus Barn serves on Thanksgiving.

These are all rather upscale options--not sure if that's what you're looking for...

We're expecting our first on Thanksgiving Day, so we're in a similar situation. Although, if I'm not in the hospital, I'll be roasting a turkey and baking pies!

We usually go to Bel Gusto in the Millenium Hotel in Durham, right off 15/501 and Morrenne Road for a traditional Thanksgiving dinner. Excellent and huge buffet and much more reasonably priced than other offerings in Durham on turkey day.
