I use the park and ride bus from the Soccer Park in Cary most of the time. It's much more convenient. But we've also done the free parking on Trinity road and the RBC center (be prepared to walk!) and when the kids were little, we've paid up to $10.00 to park in a private lot (which comes out cheaper than the bus if you have to pay for more than 2 people)

During the day, the RBC is easy, and while it's a walk, it's not bad.

At night, I'd take one of the Park & Ride buses.

Agreed - arrive early and RBC is fine.

Otherwise the bus.

agree, I don't think the walk is bad at all. I mean you are going to be walking at the fair...

Me too. We should all be walking after the fair food!

The walk is generally not that bad, but sometimes more than people expect especially if they have you park on the opposite side of the RBC center. I know one year we took my 4 year old and it was a VERY LONG walk once we left that evening with one very exhausted little girl! Other times we've gotten pretty good free spots right on Trinity Road
I don't really eat anything very bad at the fair anyway, so I'll stick with riding the bus! It's just much easier to me.

Get there early (consensus advice!) and you can probably park between Carter-Finlay and Fairgrounds Gate 8.

I park at the tracks in front of the fairgrounds or at the houses to left.
