The Durham Housing Authority may prove a good resource. Stop by their location on E. Main Street or give them a call, they should be able to give you some good info.

The housing authority no longer keeps this information with them. They refer everyone to Section 8 Housing Search | Section 8 Houses For Rent | Section 8 Housing List | GoSection8.com.

Another resource is: Socialserve.com - Rental Housing Search: Durham, NC

You can choose to filter your search by section 8 voucher.

Additionally, the Herald Sun has listings that mention voucher acceptance sometimes.

In the rental section of craigslist do a search in "section 8" (include the quotes) or voucher.

Do you already have a voucher for Durham? If not, there is a waiting list more than 1500 long. Last I remember hearing, there are only 800 or so Section 8 vouchers available for Durham.

I knew someone who was Section 8 who lived on Campus Walk Ave in Durham; I think it was near the hospital.
