Hello!

Does anyone know of any agencies or businesses that help with startup costs for opening a daycare?

I called NC Childcare Development and they said they do not have any names that they can give me and I should just google different places which I have done but I'm not having any luck

Any advice or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

I would suggest contacting the Small Business Development Center at Wake Tech Community College. This Center is there to help small businesses start and succeed. While they don't give out money themselves, they are a consulting resource to help you.

Kickstarter is an option if you have a unique idea. Like say something similar to The Little School in Hillsborough but located in central Cary.

Contact NC DCD About Us North Carolina Division of Child Care and Early Education.

They work with a credit union in Durham that provides loans to people starting a daycare. They also offer a pre-certification course that is highly recommended.
