I am looking for great running routes in North Raleigh!

Durant Park has some nice trails to run, not terribly far but a good change from the usual greenways/roads. More in west Raleigh, but Umstead has much longer sections, and the greenways around the art museum are different also.

Shelly Lake and adjoining trails are very nice and very popular and the view from the top of the Rim of the lake and bridge are hard to beat. Sunday mornings are superb there lots of running clubs, families. Also I hear Lake lynn is nice.
